Actress Jodi Sta. Maria, who plays a character who’s thrust into an arranged marriage with the son (Richard Yap) of her father’s (Christopher de Leon) business partner in the series “Sana Dalawa ang Puso,” offers her view on this unconventional union.
“With this type of marriage, we have to take into consideration several things: culture, upbringing and the transfer of tradition. We can’t just say these two persons were arranged to marry each other because their parents wanted to. However, I still prefer to think that most of us are given the freedom to choose whom to love.
