This year marks the 45th anniversary of David Bowie’s album “Aladdin Sane” and in April, 45 years to the day since its original release, the album will get a vinyl reissue, preceded a week earlier by a reissue of two best-of albums.

The “Aladdin Sane” reissue will be released April 20 as a limited-edition silver vinyl edition, and buyers, take note: it will be sold in brick-and-mortar stores only, not online. The reissue will contain Ken Scott’s approved 2013 remaster of the 1973 album.

April 13, meanwhile, will see the release of “CHANGESTWOBOWIE”, the follow-up to the successful best-of compilation “CHANGESONEBOWIE”; first released in 1981, the album has not been available officially since the late ’80s.

Featuring material including “Hunky Dory” and “Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps)”, the LP will be reissued with all tracks remastered and will be available in both digital and physical editions: high-resolution digital versions will be available for streaming and download, while the CD will feature a digipak sleeve.

A 180-gram vinyl version of “CHANGESTWOBOWIE” will be available initially on blue and black vinyl, and later on black vinyl only.
