Cheers were let out and tears were shed on the day Maxene Magalona wed the love of her life, Rob Mananquil, as shown in their wedding video released Monday.
The video was shot during their special day on Jan. 11, in the paradise island of Boracay.
The bride looked stunning in her Vera Wang bridal gown and Mananquil looked dashing in his all-white tuxedo. Friends and family also took up the white motif design for the whole wedding.
Mananquil said that he “woke up with the brightest smile in my life” on their wedding day. “I can’t believe I’m here with you right now in this moment,” the groom added.

While it was a happy occasion, Magalona could not help but wish that her father, the late rapper Francis M., was with them. “There isn’t a day that goes by when I don’t wish that you had met my dad. If he were here today, I just know how much he would love you,” the actress said in tears.
Nevertheless, it was a joyous moment for the two. They were shown sealing their love with a passionate kiss and continued on with the celebration through their first dance as husband and wife.
Notable personalities such as sisters Lauren and Megan Young, Mikael Daez, Julia Montes and Tim Yap were also shown in the video.
Mananquil and Magalona have been together for two years and got engaged in Japan on Valentine’s Day last year. JB
