The first meeting between Olivia Pope from “Scandal” and Annalise Keating, the lawyer and professor from “How To Get Away With Murder”, will take place March 1 on ABC, in a crossover episode which now has a trailer.
Two worlds are set to collide in less than three weeks’ time, when the two Shonda Rhimes series cross over as promised. The meeting between Olivia Pope, the star of “Scandal” played by Kerry Washington, and Annalise Keating, the Philadelphia lawyer played by Viola Davis, will happen Thursday, March 1 on ABC during the “Scandal” episode titled “Allow Me to Introduce Myself”.
Initial footage released by the network reveals that as political crisis manager Olivia prepares to leave the White House, she receives an unexpected visit from Annalise Keating, who has traveled from Philadelphia to ask for her help with a case.
ABC is currently showing the seventh and final season of “Scandal”, which is scheduled to end on April 19. “How to Get Away With Murder” is currently on its fourth season.
Both shows, like many others, will be taking a break from United States TV until March to make way for coverage of the Winter Olympics, from Feb. 9 to 25 in Pyeongchang, South Korea. JB
