Stars in awe of super blue blood moon: Richard Gutierrez, Anne Curtis, Judy Ann Santos share stunning shots, special moments

Like all other people around the world, celebrities were stunned by the super blue blood moon that hasn’t appeared in night skies since 1866.

The phenomenon occurs when the blue moon, super moon and blood moon coincide with one another, with the eclipse starting at 6:49 p.m. and the super blue blood moon at 9:29 p.m. according to PAGASA.

Celebrities like Anne Curtis, Richard Gutierrez and Bela Padilla captured the crimson moon using a mix of gadgets, from iPhones to professional cameras, and even telescopes.

“La Luna Sangre” star Richard Gutierrez took a picture of the moon like a pro just as it was transitioning to its blood-red form, with a DSLR and magnifying lens.

Bela Padilla was resourceful and got her shot “with an iPhone through a telescope.”

Anne Curtis observed the eclipse in its various phases.

Tim Yap proudly shared husband Javi Martinez’ awesome shot from their terrace.

Apart from the red moon, Rajo Laurel also shared a shot of the blue moon, care of Martinez as well.

For others, the company they were with was what mattered most.

Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Santos enjoyed moon-gazing with their brood over smores.

On her Instagram stories, Chesca Garcia captured her kids’ reactions as they viewed the spectacle outside their home. Clutching a Barney, the dinosaur stuffed toy, Gavin said, “Barney’s so scared now!” upon seeing the moon.

Neil Arce gushed that his photo with the moon was “taken by an angel.”

Of course, his photographer was no other than rumored girlfriend Angel Locsin. JB
