The competition was organized by the Association of Science and Mathematics Educators of Philippine Private Schools.
Manny and Jinkee were beaming with pride when they took to Instagram yesterday to share the special moment of Michael claiming his silver medal and certificate during the awarding ceremony.
“He made it to 2nd Place of National Battle of Math and Science Champions,” wrote Jinkee in praise. “Thank you Lord Jesus! We are blessed and proud of our son @pacquiao.michael. Keep it up!”
In Jinkee’s other pictures, she and Manny can be seen sitting front row before the ceremony started; Manny opted to be low-key and wore sunglasses so as not to attract attention, while two police officers sat beside him. People behind the couple also smiled for the picture.
Days leading up to the competition, Jinkee snapped a picture of her with Michael inside a plane en route to Manila for the competition; Jinkee’s Instagram followers shared in her son’s success and offered their moral support and prayers.
“With @pacquiao.michael. He will represent Hope Christian School in the battle of Science and Mathematics Champions,” said Jinkee. “Pray for him. I am proud of my son.”
