Can you handle the heat like Anne Curtis?
The actress braced herself as she took on the spicy noodle challenge which made waves in social media. Her husband, celebrity chef Erwan Heussaff, documented the moment on his YouTube vlog, on Wednesday.
Heussaff shared that he and Curtis had a little argument, where she admitted that she was wrong. To make up for it, he said that the actress would have to eat spicy noodles.
Little did Curtis know that Heussaff had tricked her. He mixed in two additional packs of spicy sauce in her meal. The chef declared that his wife is set to take on the 3.5x Nuclear spicy Korean fire noodle challenge.
As Curtis enjoyed her noodles with a piece of bread alongside, she said that she was “starting to feel the tanginess” of her meal. She eventually felt the heat in her mouth, but managed to continue to finish the noodles.
Laughing his way throughout the video, Heussaff eventually admitted to his wife that he vamped up the spicyness after she had begged for some butter and drank water to ease the spice in her mouth.
“I hate you! Why did you do that?” Curtis asked as Heussaff laughed. In reply, he said that it was a way to teach her a lesson to “never to be mean to me again.”
The Samyang Spicy Noodle Challenge gained popularity early last year. Previously, Heussaff, his sister Solenn and brother-in-law Nico Bolzico also took the challenge. JB
