NM’s victims soon learned of the betrayal. With dispatch, NM was ostracized and lost plum assignments.

Tireless Benefactors are keeping their fingers crossed that Dashing Jock will steer clear of the temptations in the biz.
Determined Relative wanted to fast-track DJ’s recuperation. After all, DJ’s career was put on hold.
TBs, however, stood firm and insisted that DJ should sort things out first before plunging back to the biz.
Let’s hope DJ is strong, and stable, enough to weather the storms of life. After all, DJ stands head and shoulders above his peers.
Dirty tactics
Ravenous Tyro is pretty new in the game.
But then again, colleagues shouldn’t underestimate RT, who seems to have mastered the fine art of shooting down business rivals. RT was able to fool competitors by being overly amiable and supportive.
Seasoned veterans, however, suspected that something was amiss. True enough, minions are doing the dirty work for RT—undermining the efforts of supposed “friends.”

Unrepentant
No wonder Yellow-livered Achiever remains willfully unrepentant. In spite of monumental missteps, YA refuses to eat humble pie.
Is it because YA has found a powerful backer in Fiery Advocate? As luck would have it, FA is pretty tight with several big shots who can sweep YA’s troubles under the rug.
Still, some insiders refuse to go anywhere near YA and company.
