If the price is right,” was Albie Casiño’s quick reply when asked whether he would be willing to work with ex-girlfriend Andi Eigenmann since both actors are contract artists of ABS-CBN.

In 2011, Andi claimed that Albie was the biological father of her daughter Ellie, but the latter denied this.
A DNA test conducted later confirmed Albie’s statement and proved that it was Jake Ejercito, son of Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada, who fathered Ellie.

No negative thoughts

“You see, I don’t hold on to negative thoughts. If you keep that inside you, it will want to come out one way or another,” said the cast member of “Pusong Ligaw,” which aired its finale on Friday.

“I won’t lie. I was like that for a while,” he pointed out. “I was angry. I wanted so much to get revenge. But I realized that nothing happened to me, particularly to my show biz career. Eventually, I told myself, ‘I’m not doing anyone any good and I’m just poisoning myself. I’m going to let it go.’”

Back on his feet

The 24-year-old actor said he and Andi were now “civil” and that they had since bumped into each other “several times” inside the Kapamilya network compound in Quezon City.

“What happened to me after that? I got back on my feet rather quickly.”
With a new mindset, Albie said he eventually landed a role in the top-rating series “On the Wings of Love,” starring James Reid and Nadine Lustre.
He also appeared in “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” and then in “Pusong Ligaw.”

“So why will I hold on to such negativity when, based on personal experience, I know that good things happen if you just keep a positive attitude? As to how much the price is, just call my manager,” Albie quipped.

Nasal fracture

Meanwhile, the actor shared with the Inquirer that he was considering undergoing surgery for a nasal fracture he sustained before becoming an actor.
“It’s difficult when the weather is cold. The left side of my nose gets stuffy,” he explained. “There are days, too, when I’d wake up with blood on my pillows.”

“The problem is, I’m afraid of the needle,” he confessed. “I also don’t want to have my nose done because I’m scared that it would change my appearance. I know my nose is a very prominent feature, but I’m proud of how I look.”
