Dream fulfilled for Alden

Alden Richards

After renewing his contract with GMA Records, Alden Richards said it would be a dream come true for him if Ogie Alcasid could write a song for his coming album.

Luckily for the GMA 7 heartthrob, Alden need not bug the seasoned singer-songwriter for one. Told about the actor’s wish and admiration for him, Ogie quipped: “Hindi ko naman siya masisisi kasi I’m sure nakikita n’ya ang sarili n’ya sa ’kin (I don’t blame him because he sees himself in me)!”

“But no, I’m open to working with him anytime. Just give me a call. I can even write a song for him and Maine (Mendoza). Actually, a while back, I wrote a song that was inspired by their love team. It’s titled ‘I Love You’—he can have it if he wants,” said Ogie, who has been with Alden in past worship concerts. “He’s such a kind person.” —ALLAN POLICARPIO
