Actress and TV host Jolina Magdangal assured her fans and followers that there was nothing to worry about her current pregnancy.
Magdangal, who is expecting her second child with musician hubby and Rivermaya member Mark Escueta, stated in her Instagram page on Wednesday that everything is okay. This was signified by a thumbs up sign from the couple, their son, and even from the unborn child as she encircled in the photo.
The “Magandang Buhay” host, however, admitted that she struggled with complications, such as feeling bloated and heavy.
“Minsan nahihirapan ako huminga na parang nasusuka na kailangan ko maupo or mahiga (Sometimes, I have troubles breathing to the point of vomiting, feeling like I need to sit or lie down),” she added.
But while in Tagaytay for a family trip, Magdangal still suffered from the complications. Her condition made them go back to Manila the next morning for a check-up.
“Thank you so much Papa Jesus and ok na ok si #BabyNumber2. And in-assure nya pa talaga kami na ok sya dahil naka thumb’s up,” Magdangal expressed her relief. She also shared her OB’s advise that she change her food intake, and must have a follow up check-up after two to three weeks.
The couple announced the news of Magdangal’s pregnancy last November through her show, in time for her 39th birthday. The baby will follow their three-year-old son, Pele. JB
