McCoy’s 2017 reflections

“There were ups and downs. But at the end of the day, I learned a lot of things that helped strengthen me,” said young actor McCoy de Leon, as he reflected on the past year.

The death of fellow Hashtag member Franco Hernandez, in particular, had been a sobering experience for him. “We have become more solid. What happened also reminded us to cherish our loved ones,” McCoy, who’s part of “Ang Panday,” said in an interview.

As for his love team with Elisse Joson—fondly called “McLisse”—McCoy’s hoping for more projects. “I also hope for growth. And whatever happens, we will always remain humble and look back to where we came from,” he said. —ALLAN POLICARPIO
