Alma Concepcion’s magic moments
Beauty queen-turned-actress Alma Concepcion has a very simple plan this holiday season.
“This year, I’ll give my loved ones memorable moments as much as I can.”
When it comes to material stuff, she vows to give them “gifts that they would love … and would love to wear.”
In a nutshell, she wishes them “happiness, peace of mind and good health.”
Like most career-oriented people, her goal for 2018 involves “achieving my maximum potential.”

Mon’s soft spot for the homeless
Mon Confiado appreciates the blessings that have been coming his way—and he wants to share them.
He told the Inquirer: “I recently did a film about the homeless in Los Angeles, California. I was surprised to meet a lot of homeless people there.
“I suddenly had the urge to look for a Filipino family living on the streets and give them a helping hand. I’m talking about people who are forced into homelessness by poverty.
“I recently met a family living on Katipunan Avenue corner Aurora Boulevard in Quezon City. I’m just confirming if the family members are really indigents, because I don’t want my efforts to just go to waste.”—MARINEL R. CRUZ
