The love team of Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil chose to spend the holidays away from home and on the cold, busy streets of London.
On Soberano’s Instagram page, she first posted on Tuesday some shots of herself crossing Abbey Road on Christmas morning.
“We live in a world where we have to hide to make love, while violence is practiced in broad daylight,” Soberano quoted Beatles member John Lennon in her post. The actress wanted to stress the importance of being courageous to spread love.
In another shot posted by Gil’s sister, Diandra, their squad could be seen crossing the street in the style of the Beatles’ album “Abbey Road”. The group is made up of Gil, Soberano and her brother Justin, Diandra and digital influencer EJ Nacion.
At nighttime, the gang went to see the bright festive lights in Oxford Street, as seen in Nacion’s post with Soberano. He wrote, “sisters before misters.”
Soberano shared her own photos, including a lovey-dovey one with Gil.
She then revealed that it was her first time spending the holidays away from home and family, as her father was denied a United Kingdom visa. He is however with with her stepmother and new baby sister, enjoying Paris instead.
“It may not be the traditional way of celebrating but nonetheless is it meaningful. There were many first[s] for us and I’m happy I get to spend it with people I love dearly,” the Filipino-American actress wrote.
Happy holidays from LizQuen! JB
