What’s your wish for the coming year? What’s your most memorable Christmas?
Actor Joross Gamboa, who has always been interested in working behind the cameras, said he hopes to “make a mark” next year as a writer and director.
“My project pitch for ABS-CBN’s new digital platform has been approved. At may budget na rin! I just have to finish writing the script in the coming weeks, then we can start shooting as soon as possible—maybe early next year,” the actor told the Inquirer.
“In some of the past movies I starred in, I would come up with my own lines, ad libs or revise the script—with the director’s permission and encouragement, of course. Now, I want to come up with my own material,” added Joross, one of the lead actors of the Metro Manila Film Festival entry, “Deadma Walking.” “This is a new learning experience for me.”
Meanwhile, Joross said that last year’s and this year’s Christmas are some of his most memorable. “Last year, we got to celebrate in the new house I bought. And now, the holidays are more special because my wife and I have a new baby,” related Joross, who plans to have a simple gathering on Dec. 25.
