WATCH: Chris Pratt evades dinosaur stampede in ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ trailer
Everyone’s favorite prehistoric creatures are back for a second salvo, as the follow-up film of the rebooted “Jurassic World” franchise dropped its first official trailer on Thursday (Friday in Manila).
Cashing in on the massive success of its 2015 predecessor, “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” takes place a few years after the total chaos and mayhem of the first film.
The film’s protagonists, Owen Grady and Claire Dearing, played by Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallace Howard respectively, return to the “Jurassic World” dinosaur park, in an effort to save the surviving dinosaurs from an erupting volcano.
Fans of the original “Jurassic Park” movies are in for a treat, as Jeff Goldblum reprises his role as Ian Malcolm and offers his aid to save the prehistoric creatures from mass extinction.
“These creatures were here before us,” Goldblum said in a voiceover. “And if we’re not careful, they’re gonna be here after us.”
