Incubus, the multiplatinum-selling 1990s American rock group behind such hits as “Wish You Were Here,” “Megalomaniac” and “Drive,” will hold a post-Valentine’s Day show on Feb. 17, 2018 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, according to local promoter Ovation Productions.

Led by singer Brandon Boyd, the band—currently on its first headlining tour since 2015—has already performed in Manila in 2015, 2011, 2008 and 2004 (Call 9115555).

Incubus is promoting its eighth and latest studio album, “8,” which contains the songs “Nimble Bastard” and “Glitterbomb,” and marks yet another shift in the band’s musical perspective—but without losing its spirit.

“As a band, we’re collectively interested in challenging ourselves and, hopefully, finding new and innovative ways of writing music,” Brandon said in a statement. “That ethos has kept things interesting for us.” —ALLAN POLICARPIO
