Nominees for the 2018 Grammy Awards: Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, Bruno Mars lead nominations

Jay-Z received eight nominations, followed by fellow rapper Kendrick Lamar at seven and retro R&B star Bruno Mars at six.
Recording Academy president and CEO Neil Portnow says he was “pleased” when he received the list of nominees, reports Billboard.
This year, the Academy added a rap nomination review committee. Portnow called the nominations “a wonderful reflection on our organization and how relevant and in touch and savvy our voting members are.”
Here is a list of nominees in major categories for the Grammy Awards, with winners to be unveiled at a gala in New York on January 28:
