“She said she was just going out to get some milk…”
Actor Patrick J. Adams, Meghan Markle’s on-screen partner in the United States hit series “Suits” tweeted the statement on Monday, shortly after the announcement of her engagement to Britain’s Prince Harry.
Adams and Markle play Mike Ross and Rachel Zane, a paralegal couple who, coincidentally, are also engaged in the series.

Nevertheless, Adams wished her co-star love and told the prince, “you are one lucky man.”
Playing Meghan’s television partner for the better part of a decade uniquely qualifies me to say this: Your Royal Highness, you are a lucky man and I know your long life together will be joyful, productive and hilarious. Meghan, so happy for you, friend. Much love.

Us Weekly previously reported that both actors are set to depart the series after appearing in seven seasons, starting when it premiered in 2011.
