Former “The Voice” season one contestant and singer Moira Dela Torre got choked up while singing a slower version of the viral song “Baby Shark”.
As stated in the caption of her Facebook video, Dela Torre had been greatly affected when she came to the part for “Lola Shark.” The singer shared that her friend and guitarist in the video, Jason, told her that her departed grandmother would have been so proud of her.
Dela Torre wrote, “[I] felt sad I couldn’t share this victory with her…so when Lola Shark came up, i lost it.”
The singer recently won in the Himig Handog 2017 competition for her performance of the song “Titibo-Tibo” by composer Libertine Amistoso. JB
