You read it first in Rushes. Not so long ago, a mole insisted that the brewing enmity between Scandalous Celebrity and Tireless Supporter was being kept hush-hush.
Now, SC has openly declared war against TS. To think, TS was often spotted beside SC—through the peaks and valleys, so to speak. Turns out, SC has plenty of gripes against TS who is similarly exasperated.
SC described TS as a phony. TS had some pretty choice adjectives for SC, as well. Alas, who can SC turn to, the next time the crap hits the fan?
Not TS who has vehemently denounced SC.
Tsk. Tsk.
Undaunted
Perky Starlet is still at it.
Not even a debilitating controversy could daunt PS.
Instant flashback: PS figured in a salacious scandal that could’ve defeated other newbies. Not PS.
According to a spy, PS is still as careless. PS would often bring home different lovers every so often. The hands of elders are tied because they depend on PS’ earnings for their upkeep.
PS should proceed with caution, though. PS might not survive yet another upheaval.
Master saboteur
There’s a rumor going around in the tight-knit artistic community.
Crafty Veteran purportedly tried to undermine Vociferous Rival’s success at a splashy event.
CV connived with cohorts to derail VR’s campaign. As luck would have it, VR was unstoppable. Minions did a quick 180, leaving
CV high and dry.
CV is not about to give up so easily, though.
CV then helped set up not a few roadblocks to unnerve VR.
Secret of success
Not a few kibitzers are wondering why Cute Charmer is hogging all the good breaks these days.
Those in the know suspect it’s because of CC’s “close” friendship with Adorable Heartthrob.
The Top Brass merely wants to keep AH happy. For as long as CC is flying high, AH will remain loyal and obedient, as well.
It’s a win-win-win situation for all parties concerned: AH, CC and TB. But what about the Poor Partners of CC and AH?
Uh-oh …
Bad-bye
From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:
Parting isn’t such sweet sorrow for High-profile Personality and Former Workmates.
HP purportedly committed a major blunder before flying the coop. As such, Big Bosses decided to ban HP from the premises.
FWs are not allowed to promote HP’s present endeavors, as well. Ouch!
All those genial expressions of goodwill are just for show. Now, what’s the opposite of “good-bye” again?
Top of show biz news
For those who missed last weekend’s show biz news on TV (and why we are moved, if we are moved):
Ai-Ai delas Alas believes in “forever”: “In God’s perfect time and plan … At ’di ako bibitaw.” (Ai-Ai’s Playlist: From “Forevermore” to “Hang On.”)
Pops Fernandez’s wish for Ai-Ai: “Napaka-hardwork ing … maraming tinutulungan. So gusto ko happy siya. And I know she’s happy!” (That’s what friends are for.)
Gerald Santos, who plays Thuy in the UK tour of “Miss Saigon,” on his dream roles: “Marius in ‘Les Miserables.’ Also, Aladdin.” (It’s a whole new world, after all.)
Alexander Lee on revealing to his fans that his father was diagnosed with liver cancer: “I want everyone to know that I’m fine. My father is getting treatment … I believe in prayers.” (In keeping with the Playlist theme: “Say a Little Prayer … ”)
Sunshine Dizon on being called “Daytime Drama Queen: “Kung may ganiyan mang title, nakakataba ng puso. But I really owe it to the public.” (Beware of a fatty heart.)
Iñigo Pascual on why his dad, Piolo Pascual, didn’t want him to enter show biz: “He just wanted me to experience life as a normal person.” (Because show biz is not normal?)
Rachel Peters on how she’s preparing for the Miss Universe pageant: “In the morning, I get up early, and while I’m getting my hair and makeup done, I listen to the news.” (’Atta girl!)
Winwyn Marquez on her alleged bad experiences during the pageant: “Hindi totoo … na binu-bully ako.” (As they say: Nasa iyo pa rin ang korona!)
