Singer-songwriter Blake Shelton recently made history by becoming the first country artist to be named “Sexiest Man Alive” by People Magazine. He’s also the fourth nonactor to receive such honor, after late John F. Kennedy Jr., fellow “The Voice” coach Adam Levine and David Beckham. “Y’all must be running out of people,” he quipped in an interview with People.
“When [people] call Adam, ‘Mr. Sexy,’ you would always see him go, ‘Well, awww,’” Blake related. “If you say that to me, it’s going to be, ‘You’re damn right, I’m Mr. Sexy! I have been ugly my whole life. If I can be sexy for a year, I’m taking it.”
But not everyone was thrilled. Bashers were quick to rant on social media, saying that there are more men who are far sexier than Blake. But the “Austin” singer was seemingly unperturbed, even posting on Twitter a video of him reading the meanest things said about him. “#donthatemebecauseimbeautiful,” he wrote.

Drake comes to groping victims’ defense
Drake was recently lauded by netizens after a video surfaced online, showing him stopping a performance to call out a man in the audience who was allegedly groping women.
“If you don’t stop touching girls I’m going to come out there and f**k you up,” said the hip-hop artist in the middle of his “Know Yourself” performance at the Marquee nightclub in Sydney, Australia.
“If you don’t stop putting your hands on girls, I’m going to come out there and f**k your ass up,” he doubled down on his threat, drawing cheers from the crowd.—ALLAN POLICARPIO
