Television viewers will sort of have a beauty pageant festival this weekend with the satellite telecasts of two international competitions.
Tonight at 11, the Miss World 2017 pageant in Sanya, China, will air on GMA 7.
Tomorrow, Sunday, at 8 p.m., relive Teresita “Winwyn” Marquez’s winning moment at the Reina Hispanoamericana 2017. It will air via GMA News TV.
Meanwhile, Miss Universe 2017 will be held on Nov. 26 in Las Vegas, USA. Philippine bet Rachel Peters hopes to repeat Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach’s win.
Karen Ibasco also bagged this year’s Miss Earth title, even as Maria Angelica “Mariel” de Leon failed to make the cut at the Miss International 2017 pageant. /ra
