Matt Evans all set for his new teleserye

New Kapuso actor Matt Evans is indeed gearing for a different direction in his career, as he returns to television via his new teleserye with GMA.

The upcoming series has no official working title yet but will be top-billed by Ai-ai Delas Alas, Janine Gutierrez, and the team-up of Ruru Madrid and Gabbi Garcia.

A photo of the cast and crew was recently posted on Instagram by @kapusoprgirl. Also seen in the shot were actors Sharmaine Arnaiz, Kobe Paras, Roi Vinzon, Rochelle Barameda and Tonton Gutierrez, among others.

Not too long ago, Evans finally left ABS-CBN and Star Magic after being with them for eleven years, to move to GMA. Evans started off as a housemate in the first batch of Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition. Among his batchmates were Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson and Niña Jose.

After doing supporting roles, he was finally given his break as a lead actor in the top-rating fantaserye “Da Adventures of Pedro Penduko”. Clarizel Abanilla/JB
