Star for All Seasons and Batangas Rep. Vilma Santos channels Miranda Priestly (aka Meryl Streep in “The Devil Wears Prada”) in this snapshot taken during a recent holiday in Hong Kong.

Ate Vi told the Inquirer that the vacation, which coincided with her birthday last Nov. 3, was also a chance for the family and a few close pals to bond and relax. “We wanted to unwind because we are always busy in Manila,” she recalled. “When we got back, we had dinner with my son Luis (Manzano) and his girlfriend, Jessy (Mendiola).”

The glam photo, she related, was a spur-of-the-moment gag between her and husband, Sen. Ralph Recto. The winter gear was a gift from her hubby. “Pasalubong from his official trip to Russia,” she volunteered. “Katuwaan lang! Joke-joke pictorial! The scarf and fur coat were courtesy of Ralph. The shades … I borrowed from a friend. I was just wearing shorts at the time. Plus, I did my own makeup!”
