If you were a teen in the early 2000s, this song probably made it into your iPod:
Best known for being the pretty boy in the hit single “For You I Will (Confidence),” Geiger has since remained in the music biz as a songwriter. Writing credits include Shawn Mendes’ chart-topping songs “Stitches” and “Treat You Better.”
While Geiger has remained behind the scenes, the 29-year-old has been active on social media.

The songwriter posted this picture in late October, which prompted a netizen to ask, “Why do you look different lately?”
Geiger’s response was straightforward: “Because you asked nicely, I am transitioning.”
It has been a month since Geiger opened up to friends and family. “It’s given me the courage to start the process. I feel like the next step is to tell all y’all.”
“Love it or hate this is who I have been for a looooong time.”
Fans have since expressed support for the singer, some of whom admitted to having raging teen crushes on Geiger.
“I used to dream one day we would be married…I will still be forever fan girling,” said one fan.
Transpersons also spoke up. “I have loved you since ’04 and am also a transperson. I am here for you every step of the way.”
After the revelation, Geiger shared another post. “Woke up to so much love. I have the best friends.” /ra
