Julia Barretto, Joshua Garcia excited to star in movie with ‘iconic’ Sharon Cuneta, Robin Padilla

Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia confirmed that they would be acting alongside Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla in an upcoming movie.
“Abangan na lang po natin ang magiging istorya niya (Wait until the story comes out),” said Garcia in a PUSH interview.
In September, the Megastar revealed that the untitled movie would be a romantic comedy.
The pair were promoting their tie-up with streaming service iflix, which will feature their movie “Love You to the Stars and Back” online.

Barretto chimed in, “We were very shocked, but at the same time we really just grabbed the opportunity because this doesn’t happen all the time. We are going to be working with icons.”
“Minsan lang sila magkaroon ng pelikula… Masaya kami na nabigay ang role na yon (They rarely have movies together. We’re happy that the roles went to us),” said Garcia.
JoshLia will also have their own TV show, but fans will have to wait until next month to find out more about it.
Family affair
It will be a family affair for Barretto as “Bad Boy” Robin Padilla is her father’s brother.
Dad Dennis Padilla also starred with Cuneta and his brother in the 1991 hit “Maging Sino Ka Man.”
