Marjorie Barretto posts throwback photo for daughter Dani’s birthday

Actress Marjorie Barretto is like any other mother who cannot help but reminisce the good old days when her children used to be young.

In her recent Instagram post, she posted a throwback photo of herself and daughter Dani, who celebrates her 24th birthday today.

She said that despite having her at such a young age and having more children over the years, she said she had no regrets. “I just have wishes and prayers that all I advice to my children will not fall on deaf ears.”

Barretto added that despite a rough year between the two of them, she assured her daughter that she will be the first one to love her more than anyone.

I was just 19 yrs old when I had Dani. I was a kid myself, but instead of nights out and parties, I had to grow up as fast as I could, and work twice as hard to support and provide for her. Now, 24 years later and many more children after… I still have no regrets, I just have wishes and prayers that all I advice to my children will not fall on deaf ears. I pray Dani, that you will believe me when I say, i only want the BEST for you. It’s been a roller coaster ride the past year for us, but one thing will remain, at the end of the day, I will still be the one who will love you the most out of everyone in this world. I was the first one to fight for you and stand up for you the very moment you were born, and till my dying day, I will still be the last man standing for you. “I was the first one to fight for you and stand up for you the very moment you were born, and till my dying day, I will still be the last man standing for you,” Barretto said.

Dani, who is a lifestyle and travel blogger,  is Barretto’s daughter with actor Kier Legaspi, while she has other children Julia, Claudia and Leon, with comedian Dennis Padilla. /ra
