When Dara performed with Big Bang member G-Dragon during his concert in Manila last September, the K-Pop world rejoiced and the fans couldn’t contain their glee.

“It was a very fun experience because we got to perform again after eight years,” said the 32-year-old Busan-born singer-actress.

Asked if she’s still in communication with G-Dragon, she replied: “Yes, I’m close with Big Bang and other artists under YG [Entertainment].”

As for the K-Pop superstar’s next project after her judging stint on “Pinoy Boyband Superstar,” she said she has offers to do movies in the Philippines and that she’s only waiting for the script.

Back in Korea, meanwhile, the former 2NE1 member said she would like to pursue music again and that she’s already working on a new project.

“I just couldnt promise when it will come out,” she said, adding that no K-Drama is lined up for her as of the moment.

Dara became popular as a teenager in the Philippines when she joined a reality show on ABS-CBN. She became a global sensation as a part of the all-girl group 2NE1 whose hits include “Fire,” “I Don’t Care,” and “I Am The Best.” She understands and speaks fluent Filipino. Don Lejano, INQUIRER.net
