‘GoT’ actress makes ‘quick appeal’

/ 12:10 AM October 11, 2017

“Game of Thrones” actress Nathalie Emmanuel, who plays the translator Missandei, posted a video on Instagram to ask for relief efforts to the storm-damaged island nation of Dominica: “Just a quick appeal for the people of Dominica suffering right now, post-Hurricane Maria… Not forgetting to [also] send love and light to those suffering in Puerto Rico, Mexico, Houston, Florida, US Virgin Islands and other places affected by the earthquakes. Just wanted to bring some attention to the small but beautiful island of Dominica, too.”

Emmanuel requested companies to help the displaced by sending “fuel, diapers, mattresses, clothing and food… anything.” She put a link (dominicarelief.org) on her page for those who wish to give donations. —OLIVER PULUMBARIT
