Kapamilya teen star Kisses Delavin came to the defense of Kapuso actress-TV host Maine Mendoza after a basher spoke against the Dubsmash queen.
Delavin recently posted a photo of her and Mendoza on Instagram. The young star said she was enamored at meeting the phenomenal star for the first time. The former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Lucky 7 housemate also shared to her followers how kind she found Mendoza to be.
However, just as celebrities have fans praising them, they also have bashers. Just as Delavin’s fans shared their delight in seeing their idol with Mendoza, an Instagram user who goes by the handle @trishaalcantara07 veered away from the positive talks and said, “Yak! si Maine? omg…..I hate her”
Delavin immediately slammed the basher.
“@trishaalcantara07 it doesn’t matter if you hate her. She is loved and admired [b]y so many people and I’m one of them. And btw, if you meet her, you will regret saying that.”

Apart from Delavin, another former PBB Lucky 7 housemate, Maymay Entrata, recently met Mendoza for the first time. Entrata spoke of idolizing Yaya Dub, Mendoza’s character in the hit Kalyeserye segment of the long-running noontime show “Eat Bulaga”, and thanked Mendoza for inspiring overseas Filipino workers, particularly her mother.
