Kapamilya actor Zanjoe Marudo yet again proves he is one top-caliber actor.
He just got a nomination at the prestigious International Emmy Award for his powerful portrayal in one episode of long-running drama anthology “Maala-ala Mo Kaya.”
Marudo will be vying for the “Best Performance by an Actor” award. He will be up against Julio Andrade from Brazil, Kenneth Branagh from the United Kingdom, and Kad Merad from France.
Last year, it was Kapamilya actress Jodi Sta. Maria who was nominated for the top female acting honors. The 2017 International Emmys will take place on Nov. 20 in New York.
Marudo was previously in a relationship with actress Bea Alonzo. /ra
