Kapuso actress Kim Domingo is slowly transitioning from a sexy to serious character actress.
She has been known for her provocative sexy image but Domingo, in her recent Instagram post, said she is bent on honing her talent in acting in the hope of being recognized as a full-fledged actress. She also dreams of winning an acting award someday.
“Unti unti ko ng tinatanggal ang pagpapasexy, magpapasexy ako pero hindi na kagaya ng dati kong ginagawa. Gusto ko na makatawid sa pagiging ganap na Aktres. At ang goal ko naman talaga ay makakakuha ng acting award at kung pano ko tatagal sa industriya.” she wrote.
Her post carried the hashtags, “#walangmasamangmangarap,” “#someday” and “#GODisgood.”
Domingo first shot to fame as an internet sensation and became famous for her dubsmash videos. Soon after, she got noticed and appeared in a number of sexy magazine covers. Eventually, she got her big break when got cast at long-running Kapuso gag show “Bubble Gang.”
She currently appears in new Kapuso primetime series, “Super Ma’am.” /ra
