If she was feeling depressed then, nobody noticed it,” said comedienne, Moi Bien (aka Moi Marcampo), of Sharon Cuneta, her costar in Mes de Guzman’s “dramedy,” “Ang Pamilyang Hindi Lumuluha.”
While promoting the film, the Megastar hinted that she was “going through emotional issues—and physical, too.” Sharon refused to elaborate, but said she “lacked nutrients” not only in her body, because she had been on a diet for a long time, but also in “several aspects of my life.”
When asked whether she noticed anything different from Sharon while they were shooting the film, Moi said: “Whatever she was going through, she didn’t let us know.”
Moi added: “When Madam Sharon would step out of her tent, she always looked happy. She was never irritable on the set. When the whole team was being playful, she would just go along.”
The comedienne said that, in the beginning, she felt nervous to be working with Sharon, but later realized that “she’s easy to work with. When she noticed that everyone was starting to feel tired, she’d order food for us.”
Moi said the team once wanted to surprise Sharon, so they prepared a dance routine to the tune of Iñigo Pascual’s “Dahil Sa ’Yo.” Moi recalled: “She laughed and laughed at us … We worked closely with each other for many days, that’s why we became good friends.”
At a recent press conference arranged by the film’s distributor, Star Cinema, Sharon said she was excited to see Moi take on more challenging roles and work with other talented artists.
“The Megastar said she was impressed with me,” Moi quipped.
