The cast of supernatural horror flick “It” was starstruck to meet Emma Watson, despite experiencing a case of mistaken identity.

In a People interview, Chosen Jacobs shared the time when they took a photo with the British actress at the MTV Movie & TV Awards in May 2017.

“When we were sitting at the table we were fanboy- and [fan]girling a little bit,” said the 15-year-old actor.

They approached her and he narrates that Watson was gracious. “Emma said something sweet and British and she let us take a photo with her,” related Jacobs.

Finn Wolfhard jumped in at this point. “To be fair, I love you Emma but I think she thought that you guys were the ‘Stranger Things’ kids.”

Wolfhard stars as main character Mike Wheeler in the Netflix sci-fi drama.

The rest of the cast which included Jeremy Ray Taylor, Sophia Lillis and Wyatt Oleff concurred.

Both casts include kids ages 13 to 15, and similar hairstyles for some members.

“Maybe she was told you were the Stranger Things kids,” suggested the interviewer.

“That’s what it said in her Instagram post and she edited it really quickly. She was like, ‘with these beautiful ‘Stranger Things’ kids,” Wolfhard said.

The caption has since been updated to “So nice meeting the gang!”

Good save, Emma.

Surely she’ll recognize them soon: on its United States opening weekend, the horror film made a killing with $117.2 million, the biggest box office opening for September, according to Time.

The film is based on the Stephen King novel about seven children terrorized by a being named “It”. Niña V. Guno/JB
