‘Exorcising’ an ex not easy for loquacious celebrity

/ 12:18 AM September 09, 2017

Guess who:

Sultry Actress (SA) was appalled to find out that Feisty Actress (FA) unfollowed her on Instagram just because of a photo that SA posted, wherein her head was slightly tilted toward FA’s “significant other.” How crazy of FA to oppose such a “harmless” pose!

When I asked Loquacious Celebrity (LC) how he felt about the rumored wedding of his former “special someone,” LC sighed and said, “Although I wish him well, I no longer monitor his activities because it just breaks my heart all over again.”

Mama Nena getting better

Recently, I visited my beloved second mom, Mama Nena (Amalia Fuentes), to celebrate her 77th birthday. I never miss spending every Aug. 27 with her. I’m glad that her condition has improved a lot after the stroke she had two years ago. She can already talk a bit, feed herself and drink water on her own.

The ’60s movie queen even gamely sang “Happy Birthday.” Please say a little prayer for her full recovery. Even when she’s bedridden, Mama Nena has not lost her feistiness. Being at her place brought back so many fond memories of my dearest Kumareng Liezl. I used to sleep over during our teenage years.

Mama Nena and I both got misty-eyed when she held my hand and kept kissing it. When I hugged her tight, I didn’t want to let go. I promised her that I would visit often, and her eyes lit up when I told her that I’d bring organic red wine next time (she’s allowed to drink a glass or two), so we can toast to her good health, longer life and our solid love for each other through the years.

From the bottom of my heart, thanks to my One Tagaytay Place (1TP) family, especially to JR Francisco, Alexandra Santos and my Tagaytay angel JM Ouano for such a splendid prebirthday “staycation,” and for the sumptuous feast at Amacena, as well. I could not have enough of the sizzling bulalo, sinaing na tulingan and tawilis pizza. Team 1TP is truly a winner in every way!
