Fans in Montreal were dumbfounded when pop star Lady Gaga was unable to perform as scheduled due to sickness.
Although her sudden cancelation was devastating, the “Bad Romance” singer gave out free pizza to somehow soften the blow.
In a remorseful Twitter post, Gaga revealed that she’ll be pulling out of her latest stop on her Joanne World Tour after getting sick while performing in the rain at New York City’s Citi Field last week.
“To my beautiful fans. I couldn’t be more devastated that I am unable to perform tonight,” she addressed those who bought tickets for her show at Montreal’s Air Canada Centre. “I sing this entire show live, and pride myself on giving it all, but when I sang in the rain at Citi Field I got sick and have been pushing through.”

She even responded to one fan who was extremely disappointed with her announcement. “I tried all day to nurse my voice & my body to push through the show & my doctors & vocal coach said no I’m sorry,” she wrote.
Still feeling bad for her inability to perform, Gaga invited her “monsters” to wait outside her hotel and enjoy some free pizza.
I’m sending free 🍕 to any monsters outside my hotel The William Gray Montréal 😭. I love u so much & I’m so sorry u are the most loyal fans.
