Richard Gutierrez

Actor Richard Gutierrez on how he has managed to lose weight for his role as villain in the fantasy-adventure series, “La Luna Sangre”: “I didn’t monitor how many pounds I was losing. I just put in the hours. While I was on vacation from work, I worked out with [my twin] Raymond. We had a good trainer. The formula for it is having a supportive family. You know how much my family loves lechon. They would always tell us, ‘Don’t eat that!’ I regularly go to the gym, play basketball, box and try mixing things up.”

He added, “I’m proud of and happy for Raymond—people ask me about him wherever I go. He’s my ‘fitspiration.’ He has lost 65 amazing pounds in four months. That, to me, is an accomplishment.” —MARINEL CRUZ
