Robin Padilla and Sharon Cuneta via Cuneta’s Instagram
The much-awaited reunion movie of one of the most iconic team-ups in Philippine showbiz is finally going to be made. Ex-lovers Megastar Sharon Cuneta and action star Robin Padilla will be starring in another film years after their blockbuster hits.
Cuneta made the confirmation in a recent Instagram post: “SHARON & ROBIN Coming back to you on the big screen in NOVEMBER 2017!!!”
Her post showed photos of them together. The first two were screen shots of an interview and a scene in their classic 1991 hit movie, “Maging Sino Ka Man”.
Loyal Sharon-Robin fans were just too delighted with the news.

In the past, Cuneta and Padilla top-billed three movies together. Aside from “Maging Sino Ka Man”, they also did “Di Na Natuto” in 1993 and “Pagdating ng Panahon” in 2001.
During her October 15 concert at the Solaire last year, Cuneta confessed that she almost married the action star. Their love story began when they made the smash hit “Maging Sino Ka Man”. The two eventually broke up but remained good friends. JB
