Winwyn Marquez overwhelmed by Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas win
She’s finally wearing a crown on her head.
Actress-dancer Winwyn Marquez is now a certified beauty queen as she clinched the Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas title at the recently concluded Miss World Philippines 2017 pageant held at the Mall of Asia Arena.
In her post, she was just too overwhelmed about her victory. As she said it, “I can’t believe that I finally have a crown on my head and that I’ll be representing the PHILIPPINES in an international pageant. The first ever Filipina to compete in Reina Hispanoamericana.”
She then expressed her gratitude to all her suporters, especially now that she’s going global: “Maraming maraming salamat po sa lahat ng sumuporta and naniwala saakin!! Hindi po madali ang sasalihan ko pero alam ko kakayanin ko po dahil sainyo.. Laban Pilipinas.”
(Many thanks to all those who supported and believed in me. My journey [to the international pageant] will not be easy but I [know I can] do it because of you. Fight, Philippines.)
