Miss World Ph crown designed by Manny Halasan via Halasan’s Instagram
Whoever will be Miss World Ph 2017 is surely one lucky lady as she will get to wear the newly designed crown encrusted with precious gems and stones.
In an Instagram post, the crown’s designer, Manny Halasan, describes it as studded with “gems, pearls, blue sapphires and sapphires.”
A closeup view of the crown is shown in another post by Halasan.
The new crown was co-designed by Miss World 2013 Megan Young. She explained that her contribution aimed to flesh out a characteristic design for the crown, something that would identify it as unique to Miss World Philippines.
The crown was injected with distinctive elements to avoid duplication with others.
Miss World Philippines 2017 will be held Sunday at the Mall of Asia Arena and will be telecast live via GMA 7. /ra
