Lovi Poe reveals her one crazy fantasy
Lovi Poe, setting aside the “drama queen” in her, unleashes her comic side in Regal Films’ “Woke Up Like This.” This time, the sultry Kapuso star delivers punchlines alongside Vhong Navarro.
Watching Lovi turn into a comedienne in her latest film reminds me of what her famous dad, Fernando Poe Jr., told me, “I don’t like seeing people making ‘pangalumbaba’ (sad pose), because even when things aren’t going well, there’s always something to be happy about.”
So, no doubt, FPJ is smiling from up above as he watches his daughter spread cheer, especially during these chaotic times. Let Lovi and Vhong replace your “bad trip” with “laugh trip.”
Here’s my chat with Lovi:
If your father were still around, what birthday gift would you have given him last Aug. 20, his birthday? Time. And I will tell him, “Carpe diem.”

What’s one crazy fantasy of yours? Having the best of both worlds. They always say we can’t have everything we want, but who knows? There’s no problem in fantasizing about it, either.
What have you found out about Vhong? That he can also be serious. He’s known to be funny, but he has that side of him that makes him mysterious.
Does transferring to ABS-CBN cross your mind? I’m happy where I am at the moment.
How do you handle bashers? I try my best to take the high road and think that it must be hard to be in their position. I can’t imagine a life filled with so much hate. They must be living a hard life.
Would you give up your career for love? No, because I’m a career-oriented person. And I don’t want to end up blaming my partner for my lack of self-fulfillment.
