Former K-pop star Alexander Lee loves the adulation he gets from fans when he performs in front of a live audience. But, when asked to pick between singing and acting, he said he’d choose acting over singing any time.

“I’ve already had my time as a singer and dancer (as an ex-member of U-Kiss),” the “My Korean Jagiya” star told Inquirer Entertainment recently. “But, while I like [the lure of] the stage, I’m drawn to acting more because it allows me to portray a wide range of characters and take on roles that are far from who I am.

“When you sing, the audience’s reaction is instant, but the feeling doesn’t really linger that long. On the other hand, drama touches you very deeply, and it makes people empathize.” —RITO ASILO
