Singer-comedian Ogie Alcasid spent a quiet birthday with his entire family in Paris. He just turned 50.
In a recent Instagram post, Alcasid uploaded a photo of his “#birthdaylunch with family.” In the same post, he said, “Missing @mark.morrow68” who happens to be the husband of Alcasid’s former wife, former Miss Australia Michelle Van Eimeren.
Besides the singer-songwriter, included in the photo are his children, Leila, Sarah and Nathaniel James. Eimeren and Asia’s songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid were also seen seated beside each other.
The entire family was beaming with joy as they “#justlandedinparis.”
They also had a little “#funrideinparis” that deserved a “#familypic.”
The happy father was surely glad to be reunited with his two daughters who posed with him for a photo at the Galeries Lafayette.
Since their 2010 wedding, both singers have been constantly sweet to each other.
Taking a well-deserved break from work, the two were definitely on “#turista” (tourist) mode, happily strolling at the Arc de Triomphe.
Of course, a Paris tour would not be complete without a visit to the famous Eiffel Tower.
What better way to cap off that Eiffel Tower tour than with a sweet, lovely kiss.
While Eimeren and Velasquez’ friendship was previously doubted by some critics, the two have managed to weather intrigues over the years and remain close. Both have made it clear in previous interviews that what’s important is how they see each other, and other people’s opinions of them simply don’t matter.
Alcasid is now with the Kapamilya network after years of being with GMA, whereas Velasquez remains a loyal Kapuso. JB
