Michael V. took to Instagram to reminisce his early days in showbiz.

“Ready, Get Set, Go!” was a Sunday game show in the 1990s and the Kapuso comedian’s “first ever TV show,” he recalled.

The “Pepito Manaloto” star posted a series of photos of the show and wondered, “Bakit wala akong mahanap na photo or video sa internet? (Why are there no photos or videos of it online?)”

He shared what work was like for him at that time: “I used to drive from Cavite to Quezon City every Sunday and make it to the studio before 11am.”

He also named the comedians and actors he was able to work with: “I did rap intros to all the segments with Eric Quizon, Patrick Guzman, Maila Gumila, Eula Valdez, Eagle Riggs, Danny Pansalin and (later on) Carmina Villaroel and G. Toengi as hosts.”

Bitoy gave credit to people behind the scenes, such as late directors Wenn Deramas and Gilbert Perez, producer and writer Enrico Santos, producer Dagang Vilbar, and ABS-CBN COO Cory Vidanes.

He said the show “was undefeated in ratings until its final episode.”

“Incidentally, it was supposed to be my final year too. Noon ako nag-decide na Sunday should be a FAMILY DAY and it’s been like that for me ever since,” he shared.

While he had fond memories, when asked if he would return to ABS-CBN, Bitoy had the last laugh:
