Youth chair finds Kian’s death ‘unacceptable’

Singer Aiza Seguerra, National Youth Commission chair, weighs in on the killing of 17-year-old Kian delos Santos.

In a Facebook post, he said: “This is unacceptable. This is too much. Hindi namin ito papalampasin. [We won’t let this pass.]”

The commission also released a statement, quoting Aiza: “We want to curb the drug menace; however, we are alarmed by the deaths and injury of minors in the process.”

The statement also said the commission “believes that we must put a premium on young people’s rights and protection, most especially those below 18.”
