BigBang member Taeyang has once again proven that K-pop artists are a force to be reckoned with as he tops Billboard’s world album charts with his latest album, “White Night”.
Released last August 16, Taeyang’s “White Night” climbed to the nubmer one spot of Billboard on Wednesday. The album also topped on iTunes album charts in 24 countries, according to YG Entertainment, his agency.
The R&B artist’s last solo album was released in 2014. “White Night” is his third full-length album as a solo artist following “Solar” and Rise”.
Taeyang is set to fly to Manila for his global tour, 2017 White Night World Tour, on September 22.
The global tour will kick-off at the Jamsil Olympic Stadium in Seoul on Saturday and Sunday. JB
