Broadway superstar Lea Salonga sure knows how to command the crowd. She’s able to comfort her fans when they worry too much about her, and she also knows how to burst their bubble when needed, all with her trademark wit.

In a series of recent Twitter posts, the Tony-award winning singer-actress almost had her fans worried when she posted, “Tired. Spent. Exhausted. Depleted. Low bat. How many more synonyms can I think of, I wonder…”

However, before her fans succumbed to extreme panic, she clarified that her exhaustion is basically brought about by workouts at the gym. She posted the hashtags #TiisGanda and #BalikAlindog.

As the internationally-acclaimed theater actress returns to Broadway for the musical “Once On This Island”, she thinks through the physical demands of doing a series of shows, thus her preparations to help her stay in shape.

“The stamina required to do a Broadway show 8x a week is pretty high. I’d better prepare early, for my singing’s sake!” she posted.

But some fans are just too insistent about certain interests. While Salonga was talking about a different production on the thread, people still could not help but ask her about the status of her much-awaited third reunion movie with former matinee idol Aga Muhlach.

Her response to questions on that was simple: “As for those wishing for a 3rd movie, #HopiaPaMore.”

Not too long ago, the online community raved over the open letter of Muhlach for Salonga, saying she is “the one that got away and she never knew.” The letter intensified public clamor for a reunion project by the two.

They starred in two of the most famous romantic movies of the 1990s, “Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal” and “Sana Maulit Muli”. The latter has been digitally restored. JB
