Just days after Taylor Swift purged all the contents in her social media accounts last Aug. 18, it seems the pop star is already making a comeback.
Prior to this, the “Blank Space” singer had been eerily quiet on social media since 2016, only posting to promote a single or her Hollywood friends’ tracks.
However, she still caught the public’s attention during a sexual assault case trial which she won.
On Aug. 21, Swift posted a cryptic 10-second video of a scaly creature on her Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
Swifties are already losing their heads:
Some have accused her of trying to out-eclipse the so-called Great America Solar Eclipse.
She timed this with America’s total solar eclipse. Talk about being “shady” 🐍

And there are theories to the symbolism:
IT’S A SNAKE SHE’S CHANGING LIKE SNAKES CHANGE THEIR SKIN. Y’ALL BETTER BE READY THE QUEEN IS COMING

While the reptilian creature hasn’t been confirmed to be a snake, it’s a start, and still has significance to the singer.
After she publicly revealed she had co-written ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris’ song “This Is What You Came For” under a pseudonym, Harris lambasted her for “tearing him down.” After this, Instagram commenters started flooding her posts with snake emojis.
Celebrity frenemies also took to the symbolism, particularly Kim Kardashian, after Swift claimed she did not sign off to Kanye West’s lyric calling her a bitch in “Famous.”
Wait it’s legit National Snake Day?!?!?They have holidays for everybody, I mean everything these days! 🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍

Us Weekly reports that insiders claim the singer-songwriter will be dropping the first single in her new album on Aug. 25.
It’s about time: Her hit ’80s-inspired album “1989” was released in October 2014, and Swift is known to release an album every two years. /ra
