Onlookers who were at the studio insist that John Estrada hit Alex Magbanua, floor director of ABS-CBN’s “Happy, Yippee, Yehey.”
John sent me a clarification via SMS: “I did not hit Alex. I hit the wall. I did that because binastos ni Alex ang limang matatandang fans ko na umiyak sa akin. ‘Di ko pwede palampasin yun. Pinalaki ako ng mga magulang ko na dapat respetuhin ang matatanda. Kung ang pagprotekta sa matanda e kasalanan, okay na sigurong makasalanan ako.”
Hopefully, John and Alex will be able to iron out the kinks soon, so they can live up to the title of their show, even off-cam.
Wedding to watch
Now that the petition for the annulment of Zsazsa Padilla’s marriage to Dr. Modesto Tatlonghari has been granted, will she finally wed her “Nag-iisang Hari,” the King of Comedy Dolphy? That would be the wedding to end all weddings!
Mo hit hard by split-up
DJ Mo was absent from his radio show “Good Times” and the TV program “Juicy Express” for a few days. He also took a break from his podcast. He’s still in a state of mourning after his split-up from Rhian Ramos.
“It’s hard to pretend to be jolly and to entertain people when you’re feeling down,” he sighs. “I’m off to Paris again to continue my healing process.” Change of scenery, change of heart.
